Pantera was a trash metal band formed in EUA by the guitarrist Darrel Abbot (Dimebag Darrell) and Vince Paul Abott (Drums) both were brothers.
The band was conformed by Phil Anselmo(Vocals), Darrel Abbot(guitar) better known as Dimebag Darrel, Rex Robert Brown (bass) and Vince Paul Abbot (drums).

Pantera finished because Vince and Dimebag had a lot of troubles with Anselmo.
Then Vince and Dimebag made a new band called DamagePlan.
In this new band the integrants were Dimebag Darrel guitarrist, Vince Paul Abbot batterist, Patrick Lachman vocallist, Bob Zilla bassist.
Damageplan had only one disc:
New found power.
DamagePlan was a heavy metal band just as Pantera but one December 8th of 2004 in a DamagePlan concert a lunatic fan go to the escenary with a gun in his hand and shot on Dimebag's head then to a police oficer and to 3 fans then a police oficer arrive with a shutgun and killed him it was exactly on the 24th aniversary of Jhon Lennosn's death.
After Dimebag's death Vince and Zilla made a new band called Hellyeah.
So this web page is a tribute for Darrel Abbot better known as Dimebag Darrel. (August 20th 1966 - December 24th 2004)
